Further news on Ideas Foundation Northwest projects.
We are incorporating and piloting the Creative & Media Diploma 'principal learning' unit format within the new projects. With Knowsley Collegiate we are using this to focus on staff development and as curriculum development and testing the unit structures in Warrington, Wigan and Manchester.
Also if you are into 'grime' (urban music), (certainly high on Alan Robert's music tastes!!) see our http://www.myspace.com/dnamixuk site. Seriously this is a way of getting info and advice out to young fathers. It is getting around 100 hits a day, is getting support from the big names in urban music. We are offering info and advice and free media training with level 2 qualifications and jobs for the high achievers.
